About Us

Azuza StreetRiders was formed in 1999 in Myrtle Beach, SC, USA as a true Oneness Apostolic outreach to the biker-world. We now have biker-members in over half the United States, plus Canada, the Philippines and missionary-members in Taiwan and Japan.

NOTE: From its beginning, many accounts of the Azusa Street revival were widely reported in print media with the spelling of "Azusa" using a second "z" in place of the "s", making it "Azuza". Both spellings (Azusa and Azuza) are now universally recognized by Apostolics and religious historians. We have chosen the alternate spelling using the second "z" for our name, Azuza StreetRiders, primarily because we liked it better. Also, "Azuza", in the Spanish language, means "he incites". Jesus "incites" us -- Azuza StreetRiders. There are many false doctrines preached today and we are "incited" to correct these false teachings, false doctrines and false beliefs, praying to turn, with His help, men's hearts towards "truth" as the Apostles taught in the Bible.

For this reason the South Jersey Chapter has voted to stand with the spelling of "Azuza" instead of "Azusa".
